The Egyptian Expo for Residential Tourism
17 – 19 November

Our main objective is to promote Egyptian industries / services in different parts of Europe by organizing / coordinating special promotional events, includes conferences, exhibitions, cultural events…etc, which could help in increasing the European awareness about Egypt as a reliable supplier in both tangible aspects ( like exports) & intangible aspects (like tourism)

We are currently under the process of organizing an Exhibition in London, UK in the Hilton Olympia from the 17th till the 19th of November 2006, under the name of : "The Egyptian Expo for Residential Tourism" the main objective of the exhibition is to increase the rate of the Residential Tourism in the Red Sea area (in Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, El Gouna….etc) and to promote other new destination like Marsa Alam…etc) on the Northern Coast which could make this area in the near future a potential  residential area for both Egyptians &  foreigners as well

Why should we concentrate on Residential Tourism?

  • This type of tourism is considered a steady investment, not affected with the seasonal factors affecting other kinds of tourism such as traditional vacations, cultural tourism, conferences and other types of tourism which are affected by different political & economic factors.
  • Due to the much lower cost of living in Egypt compared to all European countries, tourists reaching retirement age will most likely prefer to stay in countries with a lower cost of living than their home countries. Seeing as Housing Mortgage plans, which are a well established method of financing the purchase of homes and residences, now allow individuals to purchase homes outside of their own countries, this adds another advantage to Egypt as the choice for that second home. The lower price of real estate makes Egypt more attractive than it’s counterparts in Europe such as Spain and Greece, and other African countries such as Morocco.
  • Additionally, Egypt enjoys a very mild and suitable climate, more suitable than other countries known for their appeal to tourists. This appeal is created in part by the promotional activities undertaken by these countries which involve a lot of effort and organization and are given a high sense of importance. Many of these promotional activities target residential tourism over all other types.

Who are the exhibitors?

The exhibitors are real estate development companies having residential projects in the above mentioned areas, where the purpose of these projects is strictly to provide homes and residences for residential tourism, not traditional vacation accommodation. Additionally, the exhibitors are also providers of the accompanying services, giving consumers a complete chain of information on which to base their decision. Such exhibitors include banks and real estate promotion companies.

Services Before and During the Exhibition:

  • Organizing meetings and match-making sessions between the Egyptian companies taking part in the exhibition and real estate companies in the United Kingdom before the exhibition begins. This will allow the agents to agree upon the terms making it possible for some (or all) of the Egyptian companies to find permanent representatives in the UK. Agreements can be reached directly between the British real estate companies and the Egyptian exhibitors.
  • Contacting Egyptian banks involved mainly in real estate development and financing tourism projects to be the official sponsors and to create a complete picture of all individuals and companies interacting with us during and after each exhibit.
  • Complete supervision over the exhibit and all associated services.
  • Facilitating the process of obtaining entry visas.
  • Special discounts on air fares.
  • Special discounts on accommodation (5, 4 and 3 star).
  • Inviting prominent figures in the host country to visit the exhibition and meet the participating Egyptian businessmen.

Advertising for the Exhibition:

  • Distribution of 10000 flyers in all public places in London and its suburbs.
